Sage Unveils Sage 200c, Next Generation Cloud Accounting Software

Published: 17 August 2017

Today marks the launch of Sage 200c, a new release of Sage 200. Fully integrated with Office 365, it facilitates access to financial data anytime and anywhere.

With outstanding productivity enhancements, the new version of Sage 200 is set to improve financial management, making time-consuming tasks even easier to manage. Through integration with Office 365, Sage 200 users can now access data and work securely via the cloud, regardless of the location.

John Hinckley, Accounts Product Manager, at Xperience Group comments, ” I’ve worked with Sage 200 since it was first released and this is the most exciting update I’ve seen to date. There has been some significant improvements, some of which have been requested for some time, and this should be considered a major update. I would strongly recommend all users of Sage 200 (even on version 2016) to upgrade to Sage 200c as everyone will benefit from what it has to offer.”

Powered by Microsoft Office 365, Sage 200c offers greater storage and contact management, removing the need for paper filing. With One Drive capabilities, customers will be able to store and access business data, reports, contacts, documents and key tasks anywhere, anytime and on any device with internet access.

A new standalone invoicing module will simplify the process of raising and processing invoices without having to go through a Sales Order process first – ideal for service industries or those with no despatch process. With free text options, a web-based Purchase Requisitions module will allow users to raise order requests without knowing the nominal code, part number or the supplier.

Automatic bank feeds will bring live bank account data, including balances and transaction details, directly into Sage 200. This saves time on entering transactions, eliminates errors and simplifies bank reconciliation, freeing up valuable time and resources.

To speed up data entry, Sage 200c allows invoices to be entered on a single screen using a grid entry form. Users will now have the functionality to hide inactive accounts, making things easier to manage and in turn, significantly improving reporting. Once hidden, dormant accounts are still available should they be needed for future reference.

Users can now make corrections to customer and supplier transactions from a single screen, including the date, nominal account and amount, as well as correct foreign currency invoices and credit notes. This new feature will not delete transactions, retaining a full audit trail of corrections made.

Sage 200c addresses some common business challenges, focusing on improving productivity to help your business to grow. If you’re considering investing in Sage 200c contact us now on 01733 362120 or email [email protected].
