WebEx: Going ‘Cloud’ In The Threat Landscape

Published: 5 January 2018

On Tuesday 23rd January, Xperience Group is hosting a WebEx* showcasing how cloud can significantly reduce the risk of data breaches, protecting businesses from modern day cyber security threats.

2017 was a terrible year for cyber security with phishing scams, ransomware and new attack vectors affecting more than 875,000 SME’s. According to the Government statistics, the most common breaches included fraudulent emails coaxing staff into revealing passwords or financial information, and opening dangerous attachments – followed by viruses and ransomware. With the scale and size of the threat growing, and the upcoming GDPR regulation, what should be at the forefront of every business’ radar, it’s been neglected by many.

The findings from the Group’s unique study reveal that 40 per cent of businesses have no cyber-security strategy in place, with further 70 per cent admitting there’s still room for improvement when it comes to their business data. With this in mind, Xperience Group is hosting a WebEx to explain how cloud security tools can help to protect data from malicious attacks that can damage profits and customer confidence.

Date: Tuesday 23rd January @ 11am
