Today marks the launch of Sage 50c, a new release of Sage 50 Accounts, introducing the power of the cloud to make financial data available securely anytime and anywhere.

The product of extensive customer research and feedback, Sage 50c addresses the changing needs of accountants and business owners. Providing a great accounting application to run in the office from your desktop, the new release allows to access data and work securely via the cloud, regardless of the location.

John Hinckley, Accounts Product Manager, at Xperience Group comments, “Sage 50 has been a stalwart of UK accounting for over 30 years and now it enters a new phase of development to bring true cloud accounts to UK businesses.”

Available on subscription, Sage 50c will be installed locally and accessible via desktop, mobile or web devices. The subscription includes access to the software, telephone support, as well as new upgrades as they become available, allowing users to always be on the latest version.

Powered by Microsoft Office 365, Sage 50c will offer greater analytics, storage and contact management, allowing customers to access business data, reports, contacts, documents and key tasks anywhere and anytime. The integration* will also include the latest desktop and cloud versions of the Office apps, powerful collaboration tools like business-class email, 1TB cloud storage and exciting communication tools like HD Video Conferencing.

Sage 50c introduces new reporting tools using Microsoft Excel to create interactive business performance dashboards. By combining reliable desktop accounting software with cloud access, this new reporting functionality will help businesses make more informed decisions and ensure accurate financials.

Furthermore, to enhance security, with this release Sage has introduced an automatic backup facility to keep business data protected at all times. This will run automatically in the background, without the need to stop working.
