This month Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations has been released in the UK. The application will improve financial management, boosting efficiency with automated tasks and workflows.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations forms a part of Dynamics 365 – a cloud platform bringing together ERP and CRM for end-to-end business management. Designed for businesses of all sizes, the app will facilitate financial, inventory and project management, allowing real-time visibility into the business performance.

David Curtis, Sales Manager at Xperience Group, comments” Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations is geared up to be a revolutionary force in business management. By connecting people and processes with a single and intelligent system, the application will not only make financial, sales and inventory management easier but also accelerate digital transformation, giving SME’s the tools to become agile and responsive.”

For productivity gains, Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations introduces a unified process from sales through to fulfilment, with advanced inventory and warehouse management capabilities. Users can now act on sales-related enquiries  from directly within Outlook, including direct shipment and invoicing addresses. The purchasing process is also automated, dynamically updating inventory levels.

To increase control and visibility over business operations, built-in intelligence can be used to track real-time performance, including supply chain management. Users can predict shortages and recommend alternatives, ensuring inventory levels are maintained for high customer satisfaction.

With sophisticated job costing and reporting capabilities, users can monitor progress and manage budgets with ease. Timesheet functionality will track employee’s project hours, helping to assess staff profitability as well as plan capacity for other projects.

Using a common data model, Dynamics 365 allows for data to be shared across all apps, enabling easy data management and integration of business processes. This means, users are able to add additional Dynamics 365 apps, including customer service, marketing and more, as well as a number of applications for enhanced business management.
