How Did Your Career Journey Begin At Xperience?

I joined Xperience as a Marketing Executive in May 2021. After graduating in 2019 and taking some time out to travel, I was looking for my next exciting opportunity. I was very interested in pursuing a career in tech marketing, so when the role at Xperience came up I jumped at it. Since then, I have progressed to Digital Marketing Executive, which involves specialising in all things web related, something I am very passionate about building a career in. I was delighted to have the opportunity within my first year to specialise in a new field.

What Does a Typical Day as a Digital Marketing Executive look like?

There really is no typical day at Xperience, which is one of the things I love most about it. My role consists of managing the website in terms of content, layout and optimisation, as well as Social Media Management, SEO strategy, Paid Advertising and digital reporting. Within this new role I have been given the freedom to explore new techniques and strategies. This provides me with excellent experience and allows me to demonstrate creativity that wouldn’t always exist in a digital role.  I also support with brand marketing, campaigns, events, and internal comms – these combined keep me busy and ensure that no two days are the same.

What Do You Like Most About Working At Xperience?

The people really are what make Xperience different. The relationships I have built within Xperience to date are what make my job so enjoyable. I’m lucky within my role to interact with a range of people across different teams and offices, all who have been a great support and a pleasure to work with. We also run a lot of employee engagement initiatives within Xperience, from Mario Kart competitions to bake offs to walking challenges. There’s always something fun to get involved in which creates a great atmosphere and work life balance across the company.

Why Would You Recommend Xperience As A Great Place To Work?

Xperience is a company that invests in its people and supports their future career goals. A big thing for me when looking for my current role was joining an organisation that facilitated growth and progression. I’m pleased to say I’ve had excellent support with this from my manager, who has created an environment that allows me to continue to upskill, gain greater responsibility and grow within my role. I have been given the opportunity to complete my CIM Level 4 and Level 6 Diploma in Digital Marketing, which will prove invaluable in helping reach my future career aspirations.
