How did your career journey begin at Xperience?

My interest in IT was a natural progression that stemmed from a passion for all things creative, I’ve always been someone who liked to learn about innovation & emerging technologies, so it felt natural for me to choose to study the subject in university.  

What does a typical day as a Business Solutions Trainee Technician look like?

A typical day working for Xperience involves a lot of collaboration and teamwork, it is also reactive work so each day feels different which keeps things interesting and you get to use a lot of problem solving skills whilst gaining hands on experience in the world of IT.  

The support and mentoring I’ve received since starting has made my time working feel worthwhile as there is always someone to reach out to if you ever need help & you feel like the work and effort that you put in is acknowledged and recognised. Learning for the role and for career progression is something that is heavily encouraged here which makes it feel like Xperience is a company where you can reach your full potential.  

What skills does a Trainee Technician need?

The skills needed to be successful in my role are an avid interest in IT and technology, a willingness to learn, plus a problem-solving way of thinking which I believe are all essential to have a successful career in IT.  

What do you like most about working at Xperience ?

One of the best things about working at Xperience has to be the comradery amongst the team members and the supportive but also encouraging work environment where all efforts are noticed and any help needed is given. The supportive and understanding atmosphere really pushes you to do your best work. I would definitely recommend Xperience as a great place to work due to the ability to engage in stimulating work while learning skills that will benefit you in your career aspirations and the great atmosphere in which to do so.  

What are your expectations for the future at Xperience? 

My expectations for my future at Xperience would to be to continue to expand my technical skill set and advance in my career. I hope to continue gaining valuable experience through working directly with end users and become an integral part of my team.
