The highly anticipated Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 is due for release this December. By fusing together sales and marketing efforts, it looks set to be one of the most exciting new releases of the year.
In November 2014, Microsoft announced the goal of their upcoming CRM release would be to break down the barriers between sales and marketing, in line with customer buying trends. Following extensive research, it has been found that customers are 57% of the way through the buying cycle when they engage with a business. It is for this reason that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 fuses together sales and marketing efforts, to guide customers through each step of the buying cycle.
Neil Slater, General Manager at Xperience Group, comments, “Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 will introduce some incredibly innovative features that will become invaluable to sales and marketing professionals. The new features give businesses the tools to gain and retain customers in the most efficient and effective way, by mirroring customer buying trends. The main themes of this release are collaboration and accessibility, which are imperative to the success of CRM.”
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 will introduce a multitude of barrier-busting capabilities, including a new Sales Collaboration panel that will allow sales and marketing professionals to collaborate on marketing efforts. Another welcome introduction is the new Unified Service Desk, which aim to streamline customer service processes.
To further increase the flexibility and accessibility of Microsoft CRM 2015, the new release will utilise digital personal assistant technology (Cortana). This software will to enable users to set up meetings, search for and create contact records, accounts and activities and much more, by using voice commands on their mobile devices. This further extends the capabilities of Microsoft CRM, making it more accessible to staff in the field.
