Xperience Group has announced deals worth £250,000 while also revealing plans for an acquisition drive.

Xperience Group will provide IT support to Portview Fit-Out, which last year fitted out Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, and access equipment specialist Ridgeway.

The IT company, which employs 43 people and has been in business in Northern Ireland since 1969, has also said it will be expanding.

Director Patrick Leggett said: Through winning contracts with companies like Portview and Ridgeway we are continuing to grow our business organically, but to meet our targets of doubling our business before 2013 we are also in a period of proactive acquisition.”

He added: “We believe that the time is right to move into new markets, and having worked with Invest NI, we have researched and profiled potential companies with which we can explore mutually beneficial arrangements.”

He said technology was now playing a major role in the efficiency of business.

“Portview, a company that has increased its turnover by 50% in the last year and Ridgeway, which is expanding into the renewables field, are two businesses continuing to perform well in a very difficult market. This new IT is an investment in their future.”
