A few words from our CEO, Iain...

“As you start your career you will receive much advice but mine is very simple; when we look for a person to join the team, we look for the right attitude and ability, therefore be yourself. Join a company that shares the same beliefs as you, and can demonstrate a commitment to your personal and professional development. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, make mistakes and learn, and be a sponge for information.”

Assessment centres are designed to test candidates’ skills through a combination of activities to assess their suitability for the job they are applying for. They give candidates the chance to demonstrate a range of skills. They are also a two-way process for you to find out more about the company and the role you are applying for. Our assessment centres may be online on Microsoft Teams or face to face in one of our offices: Lisburn (NI), Peterborough, Bury St Edmunds and St Neots.

We want all our candidates to feel prepared and comfortable during the recruitment process. If you have a disability and need any special requirements throughout the recruitment process, please let the People Team know straight away so we can look into making any necessary adjustments for you. You can get in touch with our team at [email protected]

All our assessment centres begin with a warm welcome and introductions to the assessors and other candidates. A member of the Senior Leadership Team will join us for part of the session to give an overview of the company, including our history, where we are currently and our future plans.

Activities may vary but will typically include an Icebreaker activity which is an informal activity that will not be scored and is designed to help everyone get to know each other and feel comfortable!

There will also be group activities where you will work with other candidates on your assessment centre. Candidates are fully briefed on each activity on the day and we always give plenty of time to read and digest the information before starting an activity. There may also be interviews and presentations during an assessment centre.

We have 4 office locations across the UK including:

Lisburn (Northern Ireland)

Peterborough (Cambridgeshire)

Bury St Edmunds (Suffolk)

Glasgow

We really appreciate the time and effort candidates put into their applications and throughout our selection process. If you are shortlisted to attend an interview or assessment centre, we will be able to arrange a mutually convenient time to share feedback with you at the end of the process.
