Many people believe Dynamics 365 is the new name for ‘Microsoft Dynamics’ products however Dynamics 365 is a completely new proposition. It is an evolution of Microsoft’s cloud applications, bringing together the best of CRM and ERP, combining them with productivity (Office 365), intelligence and analytics in a single online application capable of managing all operational processes.
What is Dynamics 365 and How is it different?
The Dynamics 365 proposition is different to that of the Dynamics range of products, such as Dynamics CRM and Dynamics NAV. Dynamics 365 combines all functions within a single application, using a common data model which shares data across all apps to enable easy data management and integration of business processes. Synonymous with cloud applications, Dynamics 365 is paid for on a subscription which encompasses software licenses and technical support.

Microsoft recognise that all businesses aren’t the same, Dynamics 365 is flexible with many options providing users with a solution that meets the needs of the business and its users.
Dynamics 365 is available in two different plans, Enterprise suited to larger businesses with 250+ users and Business suited for businesses with 10-250 users.
With Dynamics 365 you can select from a range of apps to suit your needs, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Financials, Field Service, Project Service and Marketing.
As well as different apps you can choose from different types of users, Full Users who have access to the full range of features, functionality and apps and Light users who require access to data and reports or complete light tasks such as expense entry.
When can I get it?
At present only the Enterprise edition is available in the UK, with the Business edition to follow in H2 2017.
